Clean Living: All In

It’s no secret that oils are everywhere. They have become more and more mainstream. And I have 1000% jumped on board. Don’t knock ‘em until you’ve tried ‘em.

Guys, I was a skeptic in the beginning, FOR SURE. I’m a nurse. Modern medicine was the only way. But there was one thing specifically that turned my life upside down. I struggled with stomach issues for years. Suffered in silence (sometimes not so silent). I’m sure my friends and boyfriend (now husband) were so over it. Always bloated. Fetal position. Horrible stomach pains.

Then I discovered DiGize. Relief from all the aforementioned issues within minutes. I was SOLD. If this worked, there’s no telling what else these ‘snake oils’ could do.

I’ve now been using oils for just about 4 years but it wasn’t until January 2018 that I went all in with the lifestyle that comes along with oils. The research is out there and the more I learned, the more I knew things needed to change.

If I could use oils for stomach issues instead of other alternatives, why not find natural alternatives for every area of my life?

The research is out there people. All it takes is a quick Google search to find how harmful chemicals are in everyday products. Products that I used to use ALL THE TIME.

So overnight, I decided that was it. Like I said, once my mind is made up, I go all-in. I had recently started an IG account (@alyssmaher) so what better place to go all-in than in front of friends and strangers. I went around the house and threw away every product I had that contained any harsh chemicals. Not going to lie it was soooo freeing! I highly recommend a good purge every now and then.

Here’s a little list I came up with of the things I no longer have to buy at the store because I have found safe alternatives through Young Living (and also earn 25% back on my monthly purchases through Essential Rewards #score).
