Simple Homemade Beer Bread

The quickest recipe blog post you will ever read because ain’t nobody got time to scroll for 5 minutes to get to the recipe, am I right?! All jokes aside, this is the easiest bread recipe I’ve ever made. You really can’t mess it up.

We made broccoli cheddar soup to go with it from The Chunky Chef. This combo is perfect if you’re needing some straight up comfort food – not so perfect if you’re counting calories.


3 cups flour

1 Tbsp baking soda

12 oz. beer of your choice

1/4 cup honey

Pinch of salt


Heat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine all ingredients and pour in a greased loaf pan.

Cut up chunks of butter and put all over the top.

Bake for 45 minutes (give or take).

Serve warm with butter.

We’ve always used Blue Moon to make it because that’s what we normally have in the fridge. I’m super curious what beer you pick to make it! Enjoy!!
